The kooks

THE KOOKS: Ces 4 jeunes anglais se sont rencontrés dans une école de musique où ils ont eu pour copine de cours entre autres Lily Allen mais également Katie Melua qui fut la petite amie de Luke le chanteur du groupe. Leur première chanson fut une reprise de Reptilia des Strokes. Par la suite ils décident d'écrire leurs propres compositions et s'est ainsi que vît le jour Sofa Song, leur deuxième single en Angleterre.
Après un passage inaperçu en décembre 2005 dans une petite salle, pour les Inrocks Indie Club, The Kooks commencent à passer sur les ondes des radios rock à partir du début 2006 avec leur single.Ooh La. le 2 juillet ils sont réapparus après le début de l'enregistrement de leur deuxieme album pour un concert unique à l'Olympia de Paris. Max Rafferty, qui avait quitté le groupe il y a quelques mois était là ce soir là.

Un nouvel album est en préparation les kooks sont actuellement en studio l'album est attendu pour avril. Apparement ils auraient entre 80 à 90 chansons a trier autant dire qu'ils vont pouvoir avoir le choix et nous donner les meilleures!

Luke veut que cet album soit encore meilleur, que ses chansons passent a la radio et que les auditeurs en aient le souffle coupé (rien que ça!)
